Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lidisto booking platform (the "Service"), provided by BHDIT SRL, a company registered in Romania (J2026027909001, VAT 54575180), with registered office at Aleea Barajul Uzului 1, Sector 3, București ("we", "us", "Lidisto").
By using the Service — whether as a client booking an appointment through a public booking page, or as a Business Customer managing bookings through the admin interface — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- Service — the Lidisto booking platform, including the public booking pages, the patient portal, and the admin interface.
- Business Customer — a business (clinic, salon, barber shop, psychology office, fitness studio, etc.) that uses Lidisto to manage its appointments.
- End User — a person who books an appointment through a Business Customer's booking page.
- Booking — an appointment scheduled through the Service.
- Content — any information, file, message, or material submitted to the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. Where the Business Customer offers services to minors, bookings must be made by a parent or legal guardian.
You confirm that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
3. Account and Authentication
The Service uses passwordless authentication: a one-time code (OTP) is sent to your email or phone. You are responsible for keeping the code confidential and not sharing it with anyone. We log you out automatically after a period of inactivity.

4. Bookings — Lidisto's Role
Lidisto is a software platform. The actual service (the appointment, treatment, consultation, or session) is provided by the Business Customer, not by Lidisto. Lidisto is not a party to the contract between you and the Business Customer. We are not responsible for:
- the quality, safety, or outcome of the service provided by the Business Customer;
- the accuracy of pricing, availability, or service descriptions published by the Business Customer;
- cancellations, no-shows, refunds, or disputes between you and the Business Customer.
For booking-specific questions, contact the Business Customer directly.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful purposes;
- impersonate another person or provide false contact details;
- upload malicious code, attempt to bypass security, or interfere with the Service;
- scrape, copy, or extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted;
- abuse the Service to send spam, harass others, or harvest personal data;
- circumvent rate limits, anti-fraud measures, or technical restrictions.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
6. Communications and SMS
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive transactional SMS related to your bookings and authentication. Messages may include:
- One-time login verification codes
- Booking confirmations and reminders
- Follow-up after submitting a contact or lead form
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS, or by emailing [email protected]. Standard message and data rates from your mobile operator may apply.
We do not send marketing SMS without your separate, prior consent.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service — including its software, design, brand, trademarks, and documentation — is owned by Lidisto or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.
You retain ownership of the Content you submit. By submitting Content, you grant Lidisto and the Business Customer a licence to use, store, and process it for the purpose of operating the Service and fulfilling your booking.
8. Business Customer Terms
If you use Lidisto as a Business Customer, the following also apply:
- You are an independent data controller for your client records.
- You are responsible for the lawful collection, use, and storage of your clients' personal data, and for displaying a privacy notice to your clients.
- A Data Processing Agreement is signed separately and forms part of these Terms.
- Subscription fees, billing cycles, and feature limits are set out in your service order. Late payment may result in suspension.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of pricing, availability, and service descriptions you publish.
9. Service Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party providers (hosting, email, SMS), force majeure, or factors outside our reasonable control.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Lidisto provides the Service "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
- Lidisto is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.
- Lidisto's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts paid by you (if any) to Lidisto in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. For End Users who do not pay Lidisto directly, the cap is EUR 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Romanian or EU law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Lidisto harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your unlawful use of the Service, or your Content.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or as required by law. On termination, your data is retained according to the Privacy Policy.
13. Changes
We may revise these Terms. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Material changes are notified at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of București, Romania, except where mandatory consumer protection law grants End Users access to the courts of their place of residence.
15. Online Dispute Resolution
In line with EU Regulation 524/2013, the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
